Public Health Emergencies
Medical Reserve Corps volunteers in Trumbull
County will help with:
Emergency Clinics for mass
vaccination or pharmaceutical distribution
Disease outbreak investigation
Other emergencies involving public
health as appropriate
Volunteers are needed to serve in a variety of positions including:

Ambassadors for Public

In addition to emergency preparedness our
community has a
need for education, outreach, and health service.
Volunteers will have the opportunity to provide education as
well as assist in many important health activities such as:

Medical Reserve Corps Volunteers can be Active
or Inactive in their profession, Retired or Students.

knowledge is what the Medical Reserve Corps is all about. It starts with
individuals like you - individuals who care enough to pool their resources when
emergencies hit close to home.
- The Medical Reserve Corps allows experienced health professionals,
mental health professionals, and others with special skills to volunteer their expertise
in a time of need.
- Medical Reserve Corps units are locally based volunteers who can
assist their communities during emergencies such as an influenza epidemic, public health
emergency or act of terrorism.
- Medical Reserve Corps volunteers also provide education and
prevention services to improve the health and well being of their community.
- A well trained and skilled volunteer corps can
keep our community prepared and healthy!
